First wife is Nancy Waters. He was born in 1774 in N.C.. He moved to

Georgia, then Alabama, then to McNairy Co. Tenn. near Purdy. Around

1850-1855 he moved to Prairie Township in the neighborhood of Old

Antioch Church near Bismarck AR.Nancy died in Tenn. or before he

moved to AR.

Brothers: Allen H. Kemp, Josiah W. Kemp, Joseph Kemp

James Wallace Kemp bought headstone for Nathanial's grave in 1964.

William Kemp

William Kemp came among the Chickasaws sometime around 1766. He was killed by

Creek Indians and died July 5, 1787 in Oldtown in Chickasaw Nation;
